☀ Sol Reference Check
Welcome to Sol’s Reference Check—a fast, friendly way to gather professional references right inside your Emptor Dashboard. Follow this guide to get started, see how Sol works, and learn to read your report like a pro.
1. Before You Start
Section titled “1. Before You Start”Log in to Emptor Dashboard. Have your candidate’s phone number on hand.
2. Run a Reference Check in 5 Quick Steps
Section titled “2. Run a Reference Check in 5 Quick Steps”Click “Add Profile” on the Profiles page.
Mark “Add as pre-candidate” to enable the reference workflow.
Select “BGC + Reference” under Pipeline.
Enter the candidate’s phone number (WhatsApp will be used for outreach).
Click “Add Profile” (or “Add & View details”) to start. Sol takes care of everything after that!
3. What happens behind the scenes
Section titled “3. What happens behind the scenes”Candidate outreach
Section titled “Candidate outreach”Sol sends a WhatsApp message asking for:
- A quick Document ID check (identity confirmation)
- 1–3 reference contacts (name, phone, company, relationship)
Reference outreach
Section titled “Reference outreach”Each reference gets a WhatsApp message with three buttons:
- Accept (call within 2 hours)
- Schedule (pick another time)
- Decline (opt out)
Sol follows their choice:
- Accept → Call and interview.
- Schedule → Confirms new time and calls then.
- Decline → Marks as declined and moves on.
C. Data capture & storage
Section titled “C. Data capture & storage”Every call is recorded, transcribed, and tagged with time and duration.
All data appears automatically in your dashboard.
4. Your Reference check report
Section titled “4. Your Reference check report”Head to the candidate’s folder to view your report. You’ll see:
Status Overview
Section titled “Status Overview”Pending: Waiting on Document ID and reference details.
Scheduled: Calls are booked. The calls will be always scheduled within the 2 hours of first contact.
Incomplete: Incomplete call
Complete: Call done.
Declined: Reference opted out.
Failed: Couldn’t reach reference after attempts.
Conversation Records
Section titled “Conversation Records”For each reference, click to expand a detail pane showing:
- Transcript of the call
- Call date and duration
- Number of attempts
Summary Insights
Section titled “Summary Insights”A quick snapshot of:
- Strengths & improvement areas
- Rehire recommendation (when available)
5. Pro Tips
Section titled “5. Pro Tips”Double-check the candidate’s phone number.
